French Fridays with Dorie: Cauliflower-Bacon Gratin

30 Dec

Mmm…this was a really good, savoury vegetable dish! Cauliflower, bacon, cheese, eggs, milk and cream. It makes a lot as you can see so it’s a good dish for a casual dinner party.

Dorie Greenspan gives her recipe here.

Visit the French Fridays with Dorie’s website for more cauliflower-bacon gratin.

Those golden bits on the top and around the edges are just begging to be picked off with a fork!

    Looks great.

    Happy New Year!

Oh yum – yours look delicious ! We loved this one too and have actually been making it for over a year. I found it accidently after screwing up the potatoes gratin but managed a victory with this one from the next page over on Dorie’s book Happy New Year from Nana and I ~

Happy new year to you and your loved ones. A dinner party is a great excuse to make this dish (because of the calories!!!).
